Kristina Stockburger, Foundation Projects Manager
Kristina Stockburger joined the USA Swimming Foundation in May 2017 as the Foundation Projects Manager. Born and raised in New Jersey, Kristina earned her B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College. While at Ithaca, Kristina’s interest in sports communications and event management was triggered by her minor in sport studies and participation in Division III athletics as a thrower on the Women’s Track and Field team. Her greatest athletic accomplishment was winning the weight throw competition at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championship!
Prior to joining the USA Swimming Foundation, Kristina worked for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the NCAA, Kristina assisted with organizational communications and former student-athlete outreach and engagement efforts. Before the NCAA, she worked at Johnson & Johnson where she organized and implemented event marketing strategies with U.S. Soccer, Major League Soccer, and the TriRock Philadelphia Triathlon.
As the Foundation Projects Manager, Kristina plans and executes a variety of projects and programs for the USA Swimming Foundation, including the Foundation’s Swim-a-Thon fundraising program and U.S. National Team Alumni group. As a new resident to Colorado Springs, Kristina enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Colorado, attending sporting events, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends in her free time.Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
