Dave Wiederecht is Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) business for State Street Global Advisors, where his team manages more than $90 billion of assets. Weiderecht joined State Street in 2016 through its acquisition of GE Asset Management (GEAM), where he’d spent the previous 28 years in various leadership roles. At the time of GEAM’s acquisition he was President and Chief Investment Officer.
Away from the financial world Wiederecht is part of a long-time swimming family. Son Christopher swam at the University of Wisconsin, and daughter Caitlin swam at St. Lawrence University (Dave’s own alma mater). Those years of competitive swimming, he says, “have given both kids the ability to overcome adversity, professionally and in their social lives.”
Dave’s wife, Barb, has been a volunteer official for more than 15 years. They live in Connecticut.
