There aren’t many opportunities to spend a weekend training with Olympic and World Champion swimmers in their own environment, at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. But lo and behold, there’s just such an opportunity approaching.
Adult Performance Camp (October 5-7) is an immersive three-day experience giving 25 swimmers behind-the-scenes access to the same pools and tools used to train our U.S. National Team -- some of whom will help lead the camp!
This year’s crop of 25 will be the first to experience a brand new open water component, featuring reigning 5k Open Water World Aquatic Champion Ashley Twichell. She joins an already-stellar lineup of Olympic heroes, including Nathan Adrian, Elizabeth Beisel, Rowdy Gaines, and Chase Kalisz. The head coach for the camp is Dave Durden, head coach at Cal.
Each day is chock-full of curated workouts and education, including:
- Underwater filming & individual video analysis
- Drills & stroke technique
- Personalized instruction from athletes & coaches
- Dryland training
- Nutrition for swimmers
- Presentations and panels
- USA Swimming and USA Swimming Foundation swag
You’ll eat where the champions eat. You’ll sleep where the champions sleep. You’ll swim where the champions swim.
Registration is limited to 25 adults (18 years and older) on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of each registration fee benefits the USA Swimming Foundation in its mission to save lives and build champions – in the pool and in life.

Here’s what a few of the 2017 participants had to say:
"The availability and involvement of the Olympians was outstanding. They each seemed to really want to be there and participate. Working with a world-class coach was amazing."
"Bonding with fellow swimmers, coaches, and staffers transformed this camp from a learning experience to one of my favorite life experiences."
"There was a personal touch. Everyone was treated as if they’re equally important."
And of course: "I really liked the ice cream machine."
Register now and we’ll see you in Colorado Springs!
