MEDIA ACCREDITATION POLICY

USA Swimming has established its media accreditation policy and broadcast agreement to provide journalists with a clear understanding of how media credentials are processed for USA Swimming events and to provide broadcast crews with advance notice of the broadcast agreement prior to their coverage of events.

We are happy to provide credentials for journalists who meet the credential guidelines, as we appreciate media coverage at our events.

All media members will be required to abide by USA Swimming's Professional Journalism Policies.

Videographers are required to abide by the USA Swimming's Broadcast Policies in addition to any event-specific requirements as determined by rights-holding broadcasters. Photographers are required to abide by USA Swimming's Photographer Guidelines. Please note that agreement with the above forms will be assumed upon submission of the credential application.

Also note that the above guidelines apply only to Phillips 66 National Championships, Speedo Junior National Championships, TYR Pro Swim Series meets and other meets as determined by the USA Swimming communications staff.

Please contact the USA Swimming communications staff if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you.

MEDIA CREDENTIALING

Media wishing to apply for accreditation for a USA Swimming event must submit the online credential request form.

Please submit the credential application at least one week prior to the event you are interested in attending. You will be notified via email of the status of your request.

Media members who attend USA Swimming events must abide by the USA Swimming Professional Journalism Policies and the USA Swimming Broadcast Policies. Photographers and videographers must also abide by USA Swimming's Photographer Guidelines.
