As the new year kicks off in classrooms around the country, so does the new LSC Leaders course on USA Swimming University! The new course helps Local Swimming Committee (LSC) leaders better understand their governance roles at the national and local levels. The course is FREE for members and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. Access the new course here. 

Once completed, members will:

• Understand their roles and responsibilities within the LSC
• Apply their knowledge to run an impactful LSC effectively
• Analyze the importance of planning for the future and its impact on the LSC
• Evaluate governance resources to determine how to serve members 

The launch of this new course aligns with the growing demand for USA Swimming members to access a one-stop shop for all their educational needs. This course, in addition to the many other valuable courses available on USA Swimming University, allows members to embark on their educational journey and learn at their own pace. Additional course topics include American Development Model certifications for Age Group and Senior, Legacy Series (Bob Bowman, Jim Ellis, and Kate Lunsten), USA Swimming Safe Sport, and the Coaching Network Webinar series.
